Resumption of English Sunday Services, at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. (Updated Nov. 17, 2020)

(Currently our Mandarin speaking believers are worshipping via online services.

Please contact Pastor Brian for more information.)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We are thankful to be able to meet indoors again as the Body of Christ.  But with Covid-19 lingering around, the way we gather in Jesus’ name has changed.  We continue to monitor provincial recommendations for safe worship gatherings.

Because of limited seating in the sanctuary, we are requesting people to contact the church office (info on the right) Wednesday through Friday to reserve their seat for either the 9:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. service.  Please provide your first and last name, phone number, preferred service time, and how many seats you need.  If you call / email after hours and the service is full, you will be contacted.

Covid-19 Protective Measures and Safety Protocols

Self-Assessment: Please self-screen and if you are not feeling well, please stay at home.  Expect to be screened again when you arrive.

Attendance: Attendance will be recorded including contact information.  This will be kept for 30 days in case contact tracing is required.

Physical Distancing: Please keep a safe distance of 6 ft / 2 m between you and those outside your bubble before, during and after the service.

Seating: Inside the sanctuary our seating arrangement ensures physical distancing for you and others in your social bubble.  Please follow directional arrows for entrance and exit of the sanctuary.

Sanitary stations: Inside the front door, inside the sanctuary entrance on the wall, and by the exit are hand sanitizing stations for good hand hygiene.

Washrooms: Washrooms are available for single users only.

Mask Wearing: We welcome you to bring your own mask / face covering.  We have some masks available for use.  We have chosen to make face coverings mandatory for our worship gatherings.

Singing: Indoors, we are not currently singing congregationally.  When worship music is played, we encourage you to sing from your heart and hum along.

Offering: We have stopped passing an offering plate during the service.  However, a drop box is available each Sunday when you arrive to give your offering.  You can also give online ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for Interac e-transfers).

Sanitizing Surfaces: After each worship gathering our cleaning team sanitizes all frequently touched hard surfaces (bathroom fixtures, chair armrests, door handles, etc.).

Audio Messages: Sunday messages are posted under our Sermon tab above.

Together we exist to glorify God and make disciples of Jesus.  In these days of global uncertainty, we remember that our Sovereign God is our refuge and strength, always ready and available to help us when we encounter trouble.  May we continually walk by faith with our hand in our Lord’s as we love Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, creatively love our neighbours as ourselves, and confidently pursue the Great Commission because Jesus has promised the indestructibility of the church (Matthew 16:18).

Grace and Peace, Pastor Brian

Mandarin worship service launches at Bethel on April 14.  More information to come.

Eventually this and other info will be in Mandarin, which makes more sense than the English we are starting out with.
