Verse of the Week...

For the week of May 5 - 11, 2008.

Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don't need a doctor - sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

(Luke 5:31-32, NLT)

Spring. New Life!

Jesus said, "I have come that they may have LIFE and have it abundantly." (John 10:10b, ESV)

Spring.  With it comes signs of life - of new life emerging from the bleakness and death of winter.  It gives us a picture of what we can have through Jesus... new, abundant life.  The Message translation puts John 10:10 this way:  "I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of."

Jesus came to give us life to the fullest - abundant, meaningful life in Christ. We are created in the Image of God and he cares for us.  That's one of the reasons we have church; to show and tell people that someone cares and that God offers life eternal to all who will receive the gift of salvation. Imagine real and eternal life... more and better life than you ever dreamed of.

Our desire is to be God's people who show and tell others about this new life.  We offer Sunday Services as well as midweek ministries and events for all ages that provide an opportunity to celebrate who God is, hear the truth of the Bible applied to our everyday lives, and discover the meaningful, abundant life Jesus offers.

Join us Sundays or throughout the week.  Come and connect - we'd love the opportunity to tell you about this new life you can have in Christ.
