Daily Bible Reading Plans

God gave us His Word, the Bible, so that we could know Him more intimately and know about life, death, sin, salvation and so much more!  But unless we read the Bible we will likely never grow any closer to the Lord and we will not likely become more intimate with Him and His will for our lives.

This year, as in past years, we want to make available a Bible Reading Plan for the year.

Our Bible reading plan for 20010 takes off where last year ended and will continue to take into account people's schedules as best as possible.  You can choose from a one year track or finish off year 3 of our  three year track.   A downloadable 2 year track (which has an Old Testament and New Testament reading each day) is available below (see "Downloadable Reading Pans.")

The one year track reads through the whole Bible in one year chronologically as developed by http://www.backtothebible.org  The order of the readings are scheduled according to the most likely time they occurred from first to last.

The three year track offers a much slower pace to allow more time for reflection and meditation on the passage.  (NOTE: 2010 is Year 3 of the 3 Year Track.  The complete 3 year reading plan is available below.)

As you'll see when you click each month's link, two options will be presented.  Just pick the track you're going to follow and begin reading.

Looking for a new 'way' to read through the Bible in a year?

The good folks over at Into Thy Word have a reading plan that divides the week's reading into seven different genres: Gospels, Law, Narrative (History), Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy, and Epistles! You still read through the Bible in a year, but Sunday will always have a reading in the Gospels, Monday will be from the Law and so on.
